Game night with your friends, in the browser

15 party games for 2 to 30 people. Make a room, share the code, play on any phone or laptop. Free, no sign-up.

One room, every game

Game Night is a free website of multiplayer party games. One person makes a room and shares the code; everyone joins from their own phone or laptop. Then you can switch between drawing games, word games, trivia, card games and social deduction all evening, while the room keeps one leaderboard across every game you play.

  1. Make a room. Type your name and tap Create a room. You get a five-character code.
  2. Invite friends. Send the link or read out the code. Up to 30 people can join.
  3. Pick a game, or plan a night. Choose any game, or let the site plan a game night for your group.

Game nights

Not sure what to play? Plan a game night. Pick how long you have (Quick 15 minutes, Standard 30, Chaos 45, a knockout Tournament, or Endless) and how you are feeling: thinking, chaos, competitive, deception, creative, fast, social or strategic. The site picks games that suit your group size and mood, spreads the types out, and keeps one table for the night. Every game gives points by place: 10 for a win, then 7, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1.

Each game has a Game DNA score for skill, luck, social, brain power, chaos and replay value, so you can tell at a glance whether it suits your group tonight.

Questions

How do I play games with friends online here?

Open games.amittal.dev, type your name and tap Create a room. Send the five-character code or the link to your friends. When everyone is in, the host picks a game, or plans a whole game night, and starts.

Is it free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no download, no ads and no limit on games.

How many people can play?

Up to 30 people can be in a room. Each game has its own range: Code Words needs 4, Telephone and Imposter need 3, Word Race, Trivia and Reaction work even alone.

What is a game night?

The host picks a length (Quick, Standard, Chaos, Tournament or Endless) and a mood, and the site lines up games that fit the group's size. Every game gives points by place (10 for a win, then 7, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) to one leaderboard for the whole night. In a Tournament the bottom players are knocked out after each game until two play the final.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. Every game is built for touch screens as well as keyboards, and phones and laptops can share one room. A dropped connection or a refresh puts you back where you were.

Do we need to be on a call?

No, but it is more fun. Every game works with the built-in chat, and Imposter, Code Words and Draw & Guess are even better when you can hear each other.
