How to play Word Grid

1. Make a room. Type your name, tap Create a room and send the five-character code (or the link) to your friends. Phones and laptops can share a room.
2. Make words from letters that touch, across, up, down or diagonally. You cannot use the same letter square twice in one word.
3. Words must be at least 3 letters (4 on the 5 × 5 grid). Qu counts as two letters.
4. Longer words score more: 3 or 4 letters 1 point, 5 letters 2, 6 letters 3, 7 letters 5, 8 or more 11.
5. With the default scoring, a word found by two or more players scores nothing.

Settings

The host can change these in the room before starting:

• Grid: 4 × 4, 5 × 5 (default 4 × 4).
• Time: 1 to 5 min (default 2).
• Scoring: Only words nobody else found, Every word counts (default Only words nobody else found).
