How to play Connections

1. Make a room. Type your name, tap Create a room and send the five-character code (or the link) to your friends. Phones and laptops can share a room.
2. Sixteen words hide four groups of four: things that share something. Some words look like they fit two groups.
3. Pick four words and submit. Right, and the group locks in; wrong, and you lose one of four lives. "One away" means three of your four are right.
4. Everyone solves the same board on their own. 5 points for each group, and a bonus of 5, 3, 2 and 1 for the first to solve it all.

Settings

The host can change these in the room before starting:

• Boards: 1 to 5 (default 1).
• Seconds per board: 60 to 600 seconds (default 240 seconds).
